Zari Consulting Group recently completed fire protection engineering and building code consulting services for the new high-rise residential Blanc development located at 1080 Sutter Street in the heart of San Francisco.
The Blanc residencies is an ultra chic, luxurious Type IA condominium complex equipped with the most high end amenities. It also contains a roof top deck with panoramic views of the city.
The building is outfitted with the most code required life-safety system featurs. Zari Consulting Group’s role for this project was to provide building code consulting, fire code consulting, fire sprinkler consulting, fire alarm consulting, and smoke control system consulting.
The automatic fire extinguishing system is a wet-pipe fire sprinkler system with two, interconnected system risers. The fire sprinkler system also contains a large water storage tank, should the municipal system have problems. The fire alarm is a fully addressable system, with voice evacuation, corridor smoke detection, and waterflow. The smoke control system is a negative corridor pressurization system with positively pressurized, two-hour rated exit enclosures.
